Caddick, Shirley (nee Brohman):
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters, on Monday, April 9th, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Albert Francis Caddick (2017).
Loving mother of Luanne (Desmond) Hickey of Kitchener, Linda Caddick of London, Lorie Caddick of Kitchener and Lisa (Ronald) Lindner of London.
Cherished grandmother to Jamie and Jason Hickey and Christopher and Michael Lindner and great grandmother to Garrett and Olivia.
Dear sister of Jim (Sharon) of Port Elgin, Harold (Wanda) of Kitchener, Ken (Donna) of Elmira, Larry (Paul) of Toronto and Diane (Don) O’Bright of Kitchener.
Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Clara Brohman and siblings, William, Helen Murdock and Betty Butcher.
Shirley worked as a nurse at St. Mary’s General Hospital for her entire career. Even after retirement, she continued to give back and volunteered at the hospital.
Shirley’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Friday, April 13th, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church 49 Blueridge Avenue Kitchener, ON N2M 4E2 on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow in the church hall. Private family interment at Williamsburg Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation – Cardiac Care would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
