It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samar Abi Sleiman.
Beloved wife of Dr Daniel Shedid, cherished mother of Anthony, Matéo and Talia.
She will also be deeply missed by her parents Naaman and Tesbina Abi Sleiman, her sister Rana, her brothers Rabih (Hilda Avila) and Walid, her parents in-law Mouna and Nazir Shedid, her sister in-law Chimène (Jacques Noujaim), her brother in-law Riad and by so many friends in Montreal and in Lebanon.
The family will receive condolences at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges Sunday May 6th 2018 from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday May 7th 2018 from 11 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 8 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 8th at 2 pm at Monastère Saint-Antoine Le Grand, 1520 Avenue Ducharme, Outremont.
A donation to Monastère Saint-Antoine Le Grand in Samar’s name would be greatly appreciated.

A Montréal, le 3 mai 2018, est décédée Samar Abi Sleiman, épouse de Dr Daniel Shedid.
Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Anthony, Matéo et Talia, ses parents Naaman et Tesbina Abi Sleiman, sa sœur Rana, ses frères Rabih (Hilda Avila) et Walid, ses beaux-parents Mouna et Nazir Shedid, sa belle-sœur Chimène (Jacques Noujaim), son beau frère Riad, ainsi que tous ses amis à Montréal et au Liban.
La famille recevra vos condoléances au Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges le dimanche 6 mai 2018 de 17h00 à 20h00 et le lundi 7 mai 2018 de 11h00 à 14h00 et de 17h00 à 20h00.
Une messe sera célébrée en son honneur le mardi 8 mai 2018 à 14h00 à l’Église du Monastère Saint-Antoine Le Grand, 1520 Avenue Ducharme, Outremont.
