OBITUARY
Salvatore Morello
April 9, 1933 – March 16, 2018
At the Waterford Retirement Community on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Antonio and the late Marianna Morello. Beloved husband of Teresa. Loving father of Marianna Cartwright (Michael), Tony (Louise) and the late Carmello. Cherished grandpa of Jessie Sousa (Michael), Christina Morello (Mohamed), Lisa Morello and Samantha Morello and great-grandfather of Mia, Daliya and Suraiya. Also survived by his step grandchildren, Marie France (Derrick) and Liam. Dear brother of Maria Dibella and the late Betty Liotta. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Maria Iraci for her great support during this difficult time, to the Waterford Retirement Community and their staff for the amazing care they provided our father during this difficult time. Special thanks also to Jessy Staniszewski for always being available and for the compassionate care he showed our whole family. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 427 Booth Street at 11:30 am. Entombment Hope Cemetery. In memoriam donations to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated.
