Sadie Mary MacFarlane
1936-2018
Sadie M. MacFarlane of Temperance Vale, NB passed away unexpectedly at
her home on September 25, 2018. Sadie was born in 1936 at Hartfield,
NB, a daughter of the late Charles and Sadie (Bragdon) Scott.
She is survived by her husband, John MacFarlane; her children, Michael
MacFarlane (Kathy), Rocco MacFarlane, both of Temperance Vale, NB and
Dwight MacFarlane (Susan) and Kim MacFarlane (Tim), both of Lower
Queensbury, NB; six grandchildren, Crystal (Chad), Erica (Jamie),
Brandi (Blake), Douglas (Danielle), Bradley (Leanne) and Scott; four
great grandchildren, Anna, Dawson, Blake and Sadie; her sisters,
Eldena Sharp (Dale), Sus, NB, Mary Breau (Jimmy), Oromocto, NB and
Dorothy Wright (Jerry), Fredericton, NB; a brother, Howie Bragdon
(Kim), Temperance Vale, NB; a sister-in-law, Lena Bragdon; several
nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by Lyman and Olga
Bragdon who took her into their home at the age of 13; a son-in-law,
Douglas Russell; brothers, Kenneth (late June), Earlen (late Fran) and
Erbon.
Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis
Drive, Nackawic, NB on Thursday from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral
service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2 pm from the
funeral home chapel with Rev. Richard Bragdon officiating. Interment
at Otis Cemetery.

has suggested the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Otis
Cemetery.
