It is with deep sadness, heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that the family of Rusty Smith announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 71 years.
Rusty will be forever remembered and loved by his wife of 37 years: Joanne Smith of Cold lake, AB; son: Brandon (Shelby) Smith of Cherry Grove, AB; daughter: Shannon (Chris) Bakos of Lloydminster, AB; granddaughter: Ainsley Bakos; brother: Malcolm (Stella) Smith of Conception Bay South, NFLD.
Rusty was predeceased by his parents: Cecil & Helen Smith; step-mother: Wilhelmina; brother: Vernon Smith.
Visitation, Friday, April 6, 2018 from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, AB.
Funeral Service, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Cherry Grove Community Hall, Cherry Grove, Alberta with Pastor Jeff Manwarren officiating. Pallbearers: Brandon Smith, Chris Bakos, Ashley Lillico, Tyler Ayers, Micheal Misiwich, Bryce Lynch. Final resting place, Cherry Grove Community Cemetery, Cherry Grove, Alberta.
