Obituary of Russel Robertson
Robertson – Russel John passed away peacefully on Monday October 1, 2018 at Little Current Hospital, with his family by his side, in his 75th year. Russ leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Dianne and their children, Tammy (Steve) Robinson, John (Carol) Robertson, Tracy (Glen) Fournier, Mark Robertson, and Kyleen Robertson (Matt Elgie). He is survived by brothers Roy (Mary Anne) Robertson, Les (Ellen) Robertson, and his sister Cathy Robertson. He is also survived by grandchildren Zachary (Jen), Alisha, Taylor (Ken), Jacob, Cassy, Chelsea, Kyler, Brandon, and Abby as well as great-grandchildren Aubree and Daxton and brother-in-law Bill Hayden as well as many inlaws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Russ is predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth (Pickard) Robertson, brother Bobby and sister Lyla in infancy, and sisters Eva Hayden and Zelda (Paul) Sanders. Visitation will be held at the SIMPSON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday October 4, 2018, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am. Interment Gordon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Current Hospital Auxillary, Gore Bay Medical Centre c/o The Rotary Club or Strawberry Point Christian Camp and may be made through www.simpsonfuneralhome.ca
