OBITUARY
Ruby Winnifred Cochrane
September 15, 1924 – March 13, 2018
Ruby passed away peacefully on March 13 surrounded by her loving family at VGH in Victoria, BC. She was born in Winnipeg, MB where she met her loving husband, Ted, and later married in Vancouver and settled in Metchosin to start a family. Ruby is predeceased by her husband Ted (1969), brothers Leonard, Wayne, Ian and David. She is survived by sister Mary Price, her children Howard (Janice), Judi ( Al), Pat ( Gerry), Steven (Linda), 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great great grandson. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Jeskin Aerie where Ruby lived for the last 8 years and also the wonderful nurses at VGH for their care and warm support to the family.
By Ruby’s request no funeral service to be held.
You will be sadly missed Ruby.
