PORTER, Roy William – Passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 to be with Rachel on their 64th anniversary at the age of 87. Husband of the late Rachel Burton. Predeceased by his parents William Porter and Margaret (nee Graham). Loving step-father of Jerry Aho (Maureen), cherished father of Wanda Porter (Wayne), Sharon Porter Bussineau (Rodger), and William Porter. Proud Grandpa of Dennis, Karra, Jamie, Kyla, Jordon, William and Melissa. Great grandpa of Brandon, Eathen, Alex, Mariah, Liam, Matthew, Jacob, Erica, Christopher, Evan, Aspen, Bryce, Lilly and Alayne. Brother of the late Mary Porter (late James Burton), late Christopher (late Marilyn), June Nelson (late Ken), Norm, and June. Uncle of Elaine, Ruth, Patricia, Cathy, Donna, late Rick, late Danny, late Jack, Hallie, Lynn-Ann, Robert, Randy, Lynda, and Ruth. Roy will be missed by many relatives and friends. At Roy’s request no funeral service to take place. Memorial contributions to Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
