Obituary of Ross Robertson

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our father and grandfather, Ross Alexander Robertson of Arnprior. Dad passed away on Tuesday afternoon, August 14th, 2018 just 80 days after our mother and grandmother, Frances (nee Kittner) left us. Dad was 92. Forever loved and remembered by his children: Doug (Betty), Don (Linda), JoAnn Bond (Mark) and Carol Higginson (Dale) as well as 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters: Isabel Hale (late Don) and Patricia “Patsy” McLachlan (Glen). Only son of the late Donald James and Ruth (nee McNab) Robertson, Ross was also predeceased by 3 sisters: Donna Heasman, Jean Thomas (late Nelson) and Margaret “Peggy” O’Neill (late Brian). Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior on Tuesday, August 21st at 10 o’clock. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. In memory of Ross, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be greatly appreciated.
