Obituary of Ronald Shier
Suddenly at the farm, Ron Shier, beloved husband of Jeanne (nee Alsop) and father of Cathie (Brian Snoddon), Pam (John Owen), George Daniel (deceased), Julie (Rick Linton) and Raymond Shier (Lori). Proud Poppa of Courtney, Danny, Brooke, Terry, Josie, John Jr, Raven, Owen and Ryan. Survived by his sisters Carole Bickle, Gail (Alex) Williamson, and Linda Wagg (Elwood Kirten). Dear brother-in-law to Ken and Helen Alsop. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
In honour of his memory a service will be held at the Udora Community Hall on Saturday, November 24th at 1 p.m. followed by a Celebration of his Life from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to St. James Vroomanton United Church.
