Obituary for Ron Canton
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia. Ron Canton, 90 years, was of Wyoming. Ron was a loving husband to the late Ruby (nee Scratch) (1996) and Fay (Steadman). He will be missed by his children David (Diane) Canton, Bill (Avis) Canton, and Linda (Ken) Campbell and his grandchildren Alysha, Kyle, Emily, and Oliver. Ron was predeceased by his parents Harry and Maude Canton and is a brother to Ted Canton and the late Joe Canton. Ron operated his precast concrete business for many years in Wyoming and was a charter and life member of the Wyoming Lions Club. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel and the staff of Lambton Meadowview Villa for the care and support received. Visitors will be received on Sunday from 1 to 4 at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming where a funeral service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Wyoming Lions Club will hold a memorial service on Sunday at 4 p.m. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Lambton Meadowview Villa Auxiliary (www.lambtoncares.ca) or Eyes Right (lionseyesright.ca).
