CHAMPAGNE, Rolande – Passed away at the Osgoode Care Centre in Osgoode, Ontario on Wednesday, May 23rd 2018 at the age of 90 years, with her loving family by her side. Rolande Champagne (nee Cliche), former long-time resident of Pembroke, Ontario, beloved wife of the late Bertrand Laurier Champagne, passed away at the Osgoode Care Centre in Osgoode, Ontario on Wednesday, May 23rd 2018 at the age of 90 years, with her loving family by her side. Dear mother of Helen Johnson (the late Jim), Cherry Point, Alberta, Carmen (John) Kutschke, Manotick, Ontario, Benoit Champagne (Christine Merrikin), Petawawa, Ontario. Grandmother to Russell (Chelsea) Anderson, Jarrett Johnson, Chad (Andrea) Johnson, Blair (Kendee) Johnson, Jan (Craig) Moodie, Bert Champagne and Amanda (Andrew) Forrest. Predeceased by son Claude (Kelly) Champagne and grandson Thomas Kutschke. Great-grandmother to Hazel, Rose, Tanis, Preston, Seth, Avery, Grace, Griffin, Lucas, Summer, Landon and Novalee. Daughter of the late Pierre and Rose-Anna (nee Marcoux) Cliche. Survived by sisters Cecile, Alice, Lucine and Denise, predeceased by sisters Valeda, Alicia, Rita and Jeanine and brothers Leopold, Henri, Florian, Adrian, Gerard, Robert, Denis and infant brother Gerard. A private family celebration of life and committal will take place at a future date.
