OBITUARY
Mr. Roger George Hostin
March 11, 1936 – July 6, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of RCMP Staff Sgt. (“Ret.”) Roger G. Hostin on Friday July 6, 2018 at age 82. Beloved husband and best friend of Catherine (Cathy) for over 50 yrs., proud father of daughter Leigh-Ann (Andrew Lajoie) and brother of Albert (late Olga) and Shelley. Pre-deceased by his brother Réne, and his parents George and Marie (Liban) Hostin from Belgium. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cherished loved one to many more friends and family. Following a 35-year career with the RCMP, Roger became an avid golfer and was a former member of Gallagher’s Canyon Golf and Country Club. Roger’s life will be celebrated with a ceremony at the First Memorial Funeral Services (1211 Sutherland Ave Kelowna, BC) on Friday July 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery later that same afternoon. Memorial contributions can be made to the COACH Cardiac Rehab Program in Kelowna, BC or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Roger’s memory.
