nephews and cousins.
Robin was predeceased by his
parents, Roy and Margaret Lawson, brothers, George, LaFay, sisters,
Alice Scott (Ronald), Muriel Sewell (Russell), sister in law, Alma

He twitched wood from the forests
with horses and later various equipment. He cared for his animals and
land with great heart and could grow anything he chose to produce a
bountiful harvest. He worked construction and road building as a dozer
operator. He worked in the woods in the off season with several
different crews from Deersdale to Dorn Ridge and several locations in
between.
Robin worked at St. Anne Nackawic
for 20 years where he made friends in several
departments.
He was always willing to help
whether friend or stranger and they usually got invited to enjoy a
meal skillfully prepared by Joan. They were welcomed to stay the night
as needed and didn’t stay strangers; some returning to visit
for years to come. He loved visitors and visiting, attending garden
club, and participating in agricultural exhibitions. He loved to hunt
and tell stories. So many stories. He proudly completed his GED to
achieve his high school diploma. Robin was a great reader and followed
politics with interest. Robin was an avid blood donor with over 100
donations thru the years. He seldom missed an opportunity to donate.
In recent weeks Robin received thoughtful care and attention from the
New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program. Special thanks to Wendy and
Shelley.
We miss him.
