Obituary of Robert Kuipers
Passed away on June 2, 2018 at the Welland Hospital at the age of 77.
Dearly loved husband of Nancy (Coleman). Survived by his loving children Scott (Mary) and Sandy Pedersen (Mike Somers). Predeceased by his son Steven (1984), parents Gerry and Ruth and brother Dave. Also left to mourn his passing are his granddaughter Meredith (Filipe) Kuipers-Santana, grandson Dustin Pedersen, sister Carol Myler, in-laws Lian Kuipers, Sally and Doug Whaley, Judy and Bill Purdy, Tim and Della Coleman and Kerry McEwan. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of Harbour Heights at Northland Pointe for their many years of compassionate care, the I.CU. of the Welland Hospital, and Premiere Taxi in Port Colborne for the many rides provided to his home.
In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne.
The family invites all to a graveside service on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Overholt Cemetery at 12 p.m.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to a local Humane Society or a charity of choice.
