Obituary of Robert Gibbon
GIBBON, Robert Seymour “Bob”– age 83, of Hardwood Lands, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. He was predeceased by his parents, Bertis and Annie Josephine (Miller) Gibbon.
Bob was a devoted and loving husband to Evelyn for 56 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and travelling.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (Blois); brothers, Bill (Margie), Bedford; Allan, BC; Mark (Janie), Truro; sisters, Betty, BC; Linda (Cleve), Lantz; Barbara (John), Yarmouth; sister-in-law, Peggy, Hardwood Lands; many nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by a brother, Larry.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Elmsdale Cemetery or to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the VON homecare workers who provided excellent care and the staff at the Dykeland Lodge.
