Obituary for
Robert Leonard « Bob » Boyle
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Robert « Bob » Leonard Boyle announces his passing. Bob passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, November 12th, 2018 at the age of 82 years.
Robert is predeceased by his parents – Gerald and Maude Boyle; siblings – Gerald Boyle, Colbourne Boyle and Alice Boyle; parents-in-law – Isaac and Mabel Eddy; siblings-in-law – Jean Bursey (Judson), Augustus Adams.
Left to cherish a lifetime of incredible memories is his wife of 61 years, Vera Boyle, Baie Verte, NL; son – Wayne Boyle (Karen), Tumbler Ridge, BC; granddaughter – Sherri-Lynn Hewitt (Gregory); great-grandchildren – Tyler Hewitt and Amber Hewitt; siblings – Kevin Boyle (Ruby), Roy Boyle (Ada), Joan Griffin (Michael), Lester Boyle (Marilyn), Jean Tardif (Claude), Norma Keeping (Boyde) and Harold Boyle (Mary); siblings-in-law – Nellie Adams, Edna Nichlos (Calvin) and Melva Hillier (Reginald), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and church family at Bethany United.
Public Visitation will take place from Foster Funeral Home, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, November 15th, 2018 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
Reverend Sidney Newbury and Mrs. Barbara Noble will conduct the Funeral Service from Bethany United Church, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, November 16th at 2:00PM.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to Bethany United Church, Baie Verte, NL or a charity of one’s choice.
