Robert James McHugh passed away July 12, 2018 in Smithers, leaving the world a little less interesting with his absence.
Bob was born in Ireland, November 27th,1943 and immigrated to Canada in 1967.
Bob was a master craftsman, artist, designer, musician, businessman and saddlemaker, and the body of work he created in his lifetime is astounding; but none of these can describe what he meant to those he loved and who loved him. Always ready to discuss life’s questions, debate the answers, give advice when needed or none where appropriate. A huge heart for animals and underdogs, and a master storyteller.
There are not enough pages to tell the story of how much Bob was loved. He has left us a legacy of a life well lived.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday September 8th at the Glenwood Hall at 3PM
