Robert « Bob » Goodine
1942-2018
Robert « Bob » Goodine of Linton Corner, NB, passed away
unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 12,
2018.
Bob was born in Hazeldean, NB, on June 8, 1942. He was the son of the
late Louis and Beatrice (Babineau) Goodine. Bob leaves behind his
loving wife, Faye Goodine (Harding); his children, Valerie Girvan
(Gerald) of Upper Kintore, NB, Wade Goodine (Heather) of Plaster Rock,
NB, Wendy Warren of Plaster Rock, NB; his sister, Viola Paris of
Moncton, NB; his brothers, Isaac Goodine (Gloria) of Ottawa, ON, Fred
Goodine of Vancouver, BC, David Goodine (Alvena) of Crombie
Settlement, NB, Francis Goodine (Joan) of Crombie Settlement, NB,
Gerald Goodine (Darlene) of Sisson Ridge, NB; six grandchildren and
three great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his parents; his son-in-law, Ronnie Warren;
sisters Margaret Albert and Annie DeLeavey; and his brother, joe
Goodine.
Bob was a machine operator at Fraser Lumber Mill for over 40 years
prior to his retirement. Bob enjoyed many outdoor activities such as
fishing and hunting. He has participated in many moose hunts over his
lifetime.
Resting at Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock with visitation on Sunday
6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2 pm
from the Tobique Chapel. Father Paul Paradis officiating. Interment
will be in the Linton Corner Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to Pro Kids would be
appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
