Obituary for Robert Bender
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert John Bender on Sunday November 18, 2018 in his 86th year, after a short illness.
Predeceased by his first wife, Yvonne Griffin, his parents, Milton and Verna Bender, his sister, Yvonne Richards and his son, Jeff. He will be missed by his wife, Maureen and Tigger, his children, Cam (Cathy), Janice, Glenn (Cathy), Gail (Mike) and daughter-in-law, Lesley (Kevin). Grandfather to Evan (Natalie), Jennifer (Jesse), Carter (Brittany), Robyn, Jason, Christopher, Matthew and Ryan. Great-grandfather to Blake.
Bob was born in Kitchener where he enjoyed an active sporting life most notably as a ski patrol at Chicopee Ski Club. He worked for, then later managed the family printing business, and in his later years spent his time with creative pursuits including; music, drawing, painting, stained glass and many building projects.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the coming weeks.
