Rita Marguerite
Bourque (nee Allain), 95, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview, passed away
peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital, on Monday, July 9,
2018. She was the widow of Lorenzo
Bourque.
She will be sadly missed by
her three children, Claudette Staniforth (Richard) of St-Marc, Que,
Thomas (Karon) of Cocagne and Terrance (Venette Godbout) of Moncton,
eight grandchildren Derrick (Beatrice) Carter, Wendy (Les) Guptil,
Jaime (Mandy) Carter, Diana (Steve), Sandra (Marty) Wry, Georgina
« Gini » (Wray) Dunn, Thomas Jr (Lise-Anne), and Christina
Bourque. She will also be missed by fifteen
great-grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Chelsey, Justin, Terrance Jr
(TJ), Taylor, Cole, Hunter, Abigail, Mackenzie, Jacob, Allison, Wade,
Natalie and Simon; two great great-grandchildren, James and Arya, her
namesake (due soon) Hadley Marguerite and daughter-in-law Rita
Bourque.
She was predeceased by one
granddaughter, Tanya Bourque, her parents Alvina (nee Bourque) and
Cyril Allain; five brothers, Medrick, Zoel, Joseph, Aurele, Albert and
three sisters, Marie, Zelima and
Delphine.
Her interests included dogs,
clothes, dancing and listening to music. She will forever be
remembered for her dry, quick wit and her
beauty.
A time to celebrate and honour
Rita Marguerite’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral
Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on
Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A graveside service will
take place on
Friday,
July 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at The Shediac Road Cemetery. Online

Donations to the Lakeview Manor, Activities Program or a memorial of
the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
The family would like to
sincerely thank the Lakeview Manor and their staff for the love,
compassion and exceptional care given to Mom during her last
year. It was noticed and greatly
appreciated.
The family would also like to
thank the Moncton City Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the care
given to her during the last week of her long
life.
