Richard Alexander Michelin
1927 -2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Richard Alexander Michelin announce his passing on October 29, 2018 at Labrador Health Centre at the age of 91 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rose Michelin; children Richard (Joy), Joan (Terry), Frank (Joan), Sharon (Robert), Jean, Angela (Jamie), Marilyn (Richard), Darlene (Ken); 48 grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Ross Michelin and numerous nieces, nephew other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Stewart & Louisa Michelin, siblings: Brian, George, Henry, Norman, Oswald, Betty, Charlotte, Ettie and Winnie. Visitation will be held at the United Church in Happy Valley Goose Bay on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm followed by the funeral service Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Nellie Thomas & Reverend Ben officiating. The interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. As expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Special thanks to the wonderful Doctors, Nursing Staff, House keeping and Kitchen Staff that took care of our Dad during his stay at the hospital.
