Rev. David Steadman
It is with great sadness we share the passing of David William Steadman. He leaves behind his loving wife Sheryle, son Michael Steadman and his wife Jen of St. Catharines, daughters Carrie Lynn Brown and her husband Scott of Chatham, and Tasha Phair and her husband Jason of Chatham, and his beloved grandchildren Emily, Carelan, Griffin, Eva, Sophia and Georgia. After a courageous short battle with Leukemia, he returned to his Lord on Friday September 14th, 2018. David was born and raised in Forest, Ontario, and was the cherished son of the late Donald and Marjorie Steadman. He is survived by his sister Sara Jane (Rick) Goodhand, and his brother Ross (Kathy) Steadman and their children. In his long life he touched and brightened so many lives. Anyone who knew him came away a happier person. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 22nd at 10 a.m. at Charing Cross United Church, 8561 Middle Line, Charing Cross, with Pastor Andrew Gilliland officiating. A time to visit with family and friends, and a luncheon will follow the service. Arrangements entrusted to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519-352-2710.
