Reinder Hummel, forever loved husband of Wilhelmina “Wilma” (Verkaik) Hummel passed away peacefully on Saturday November 17, 2018 at the age of 83. Reinder was the loving father of Pieter (Diane) Hummel, Mary (Brian) Ford, Willem (Lori) Hummel, Ron Hummel and Shirley Urry. Proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents Peter and Regina (Bakker) Hummel.
Friends and family are invited to the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Wednesday November 21, 2018 for visitation from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Thursday November 22, 2018 at 11 am. with Pastor Tim Joyce officiating. Cremation to follow with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.
Friends wishing to remember Reinder with a memorial donation are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
