With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Regina Atrens (nee Greenwald) in Kelowna on Friday September 7, 2018 at the age of 84. She is survived by her loving Husband Ron; just shy of 59 years of marriage, daughter Maureen (Kevin) Sharko, son Kevin (Sheila) Atrens, grandchildren: Mitchell, Cara, Riley, Kenzie, Paxton, Jasper, 2 sisters Edith Christiansen, Delphine (Mike) Stone, brother Conrad Greenwald, numerous nieces and nephews.
Much of her life raising a family and professionally… Read More » was lived in Edmonton. Regina and Ron retired and moved to Kelowna in 2008. Life had its challenges and health was no exception. Regina waited over a year hoping for a healthy heart, she was a heart transplant recipient in 1996 and was blessed with an additional 22 years and 147 days of life.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Charles Garnier Parish, 3645 Benvoulin Road Kelowna with Father Bart officiating.
