COMEAU, Prescille Elizabeth – age 76. It is with sad and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother , great-grandmother, Prescille, of Bangor, Digby County, on Friday, April 27, 2018 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 3, 1942, in Meteghan Station, she was a daughter of the late Leo “à Milien” and Celenie (Fournier) Deveau. She is survived by children, Albenie and Joyce, at home; Robert (Rachael), Saulnierville; Michel (Coretta Bright), Meteghan River; James (Elaine), Hamilton, Ont.; Wilfred (Joceline), Salmo, B.C.; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Gregory, Meaghan, Rebecca, Alexandra, Michel; Great-grandchildren, Audry, Eliot, Elijah, Albert; brothers, Edward, Alphonse, Alfred; sisters, Agnes, May; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gustave “à Ben”; daughter, Philomene in infancy; brothers, Peter, Dennie, Leo; sisters, Lucie, Cecilia; nieces and nephews. No visitation will be held by request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral will be held Tuesday, May 1 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Saulnierville. Burial in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Atelier De Clare, SPCA or charity of your choice.
