Homer Burke
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Homer passed away surrounded by family on July 16, 2018 at the age of 89 in Saskatoon.
Homer is lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice, daughter Shelley (Ken Ulrich), grandsons Matthew, Brendan and Aidan of Saskatoon, son Donald (Roya Akbari), and grandson Rumi of Toronto. Also left to mourn are sister-in-law Lucille Cyrenne Burger (Ken) of Kelowna, B.C. and sister-in-law Edna Cyrenne of Regina.
Homer was predeceased by his parents Alvin and Laura Burke, brothers Bill (Ardel), Jack (Evelyn), and sisters-in-law Anna, Eva, Therese, Irene and brother-in-law, Raymond Cyrenne.
A private family service will be held in Watrous Cemetery on Friday, July 20.
In lieu of flowers for those so wishing, donations to Watrous Manitou Beach Heritage Centre Inc. would be appreciated.
