R. Dalton Coleman
March 16, 1944 – August 31, 2018
R. Dalton Coleman, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2018 in Cranbrook, BC.
He is survived by his wife Stacey, sons K.C. (Mette) and Calem (Jolene), daughter Devlin (Cody), grandchildren Kash, Chance, Garrett, Emmett and Bryn and sisters Lynda (Dave) and Donna.
Dalton was born in Moose Jaw, SK. He spent his life ranching, beginning outside of Moose Jaw, SK. In 1969, Dalton and his family loaded the majority of their possessions and made the move to their new ranch at Mayook. While continuing in the cattle business with his father Harold, Dalton met Stacey Bradford and began their love that is still going strong today. Dalton and Stacey took over the family ranch and soon had three young children. He enjoyed being a son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Jaffray Community Hall, 7369 Jaffray Village Loop Road in Jaffray, BC.
Memorial Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC at giving@alzheimer.org.
