PROST, Colleen Maria
March 23, 1951 — November 7, 2018
Colleen Maria Prost (Nana – Neen – Mom – Cookie) went to be with the Lord on November 7th, 2018 at the age of 67. Colleen was born in Vancouver, BC, on March 23, 1951. She moved to Kelowna in 1960 where she remained until her passing. Colleen was an amazing daughter, mother, grandma and Auntie. Colleen was very proud of her two daughters and was very dedicated to them. Colleen’s passions were cooking, baking and looking after her grandchildren which meant a lot to her.
In Colleens working days she worked as a cook in hospitals, nursing homes and pubs where she met her companion Don 25 years ago. They were together until his passing in July 2018.
Survived by her daughters Melissa Goodine and Shawna Goodine (of Vancouver, BC); grandchildren Tiffany, Tyler, Breannna, Amelia, Mikayla, Brayden and Elijah; sister Karen (Tim) Schobert and kids; brother Roger Burr and kids; best friends Judy (54 years) and Carla (Paul); Cottonwoods Care Home Staff (Pat); really good family friend, extended family, Amanda (Ron) and kids.
Predeceased by companion Donald Busch in July 2018, Father Donald Burr 1990 and Mother Mary Dunlop in 2003.
