OBITUARY
Pierre Joseph Dumas
25 April , 1950 – 5 May , 2018
In loving memory of Pierre Joseph Raymond Dumas who passed away on May 5th 2018 at the age of 68 in Kelowna, British Columbia. Pierre was born April 25th 1950 in Montreal, Quebec. Pierre contributed to our community in so many ways he was an avid member of Lions Club in West Kelowna, Westside Days and Writer’s Group West Kelowna. Pierre’s love of writing was amazing he wrote a book on Numerology and was very interested Astrology. He was the great grandson of Alexandre Dumas the author of The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers. He loved people, Seniors on the Go, technology, computers, music, animals, and nature. Pierre was a smart business man and was a professional truck driver. Pierre was a very spiritual man. Pierre will be missed by his loving wife Anja, his mother and father in law Martha and Walter Brunninger of Germany, his sister in law Nicole and her 2 children Jacqueline and Jessica and friends and family all over the globe.
The family wishes to thank The Okanagan Hospice House family who gave Pierre and Anja warm welcome and understanding. Pierre enjoyed the beautiful garden and would share with Anja how peaceful he had felt in his new home. Pierre has wished to say thank you to his doctor Dr. Maritz thank- you for caring so much. Also to his amazing companions of life: His friends…. Pierre did say, » no worry…. I will not leave you …. I will be with God watching you, be good, travel, enjoy the woods and take care of my beautiful wife Anja . »
