Unexpectedly at Kingston Health Sciences Centre-KGH on Thursday, December 20, 2018, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Erla (nee Albertson) who predeceased him in 2008. He is predeceased by his parents Lester and Margaret (nee Caverly) Pride. Peter is survived by numerous cousins and their families, as well as his friends at St. Lawrence Place and his church family at St. George’s Cathedral. In accordance with Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of JAMES REID CREMATORIUM. A funeral service in celebration of Peter’s life will be held at THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF ST. GEORGE, (corner of King Street East and Johnson Street), Kingston, ON, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11:00 am. with refreshments to follow. Peter’s final resting place will be with his beloved wife at Harrowsmith Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heritage Preservation Trust at St. George’s Cathedral in Mr. Pride’s memory.
