Peggy Rosemary Schollenberg
Mercifully Peggy passed on August 2, 2018 at the age of 59 at Trillium hospice in Parksville, BC. Many thanks to the caregivers, friends and family support over the past year.
Peggy was born on October 28, 1958 to Heinz and Elisabeth Kardel in Winnipeg. She has two brothers Fred and Henry.
Peggy was married to Arthur and acquired a sister and brother in law, Debbie and Ross as a result. Peggy and Arthur raised a much loved child Christopher together.
Peggy had many hobbies including gardening, reading, walking with friends and dogs, travel, enjoyed and had a true talent and love of painting. She was an active member in the Federation of Canadian Artists.
During Peggy’s work career she was a buyer, health and wellness director, councillor, and provided administrative support in a legal and engineering office, and was proud to be a stay at home mom.
Peggy’s charming personality will be missed by all that got to know her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Oceanside Hospice Society or the SPCA in Qualicum Beach that would be gratefully appreciated.
