PAUL O’DONNELL
The family of Paul O’Donnell, 66, of Mitchell is heartbroken to announce his passing on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Clinton Public Hospital.
He was the loving and devoted father to Trish Ritz (Christopher) and Phil O’Donnell, as well as the adored Grandpa (Paw) of Mason Ritz. He is also survived and missed by his friend and mother of his children, Pam O’Donnell, his brothers David O’Donnell and Rick O’Donnell (Angela), and many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as the entire Elliott family, and so many incredible friends.
Predeceased by his parents Lewis and Verna O’Donnell.
Over the years, Paul demonstrated he was a hard-working family man. He enjoyed many years as a painter with Mike Uniac Painting. He spent his later years working at Cooper Standard in Mitchell before his retirement in the summer of 2017. Paul always enjoyed working, but nothing compared to the time he could spend with his family. As his children grew up, he was often found in the stands of the arena or behind the fence at the ballpark, providing support, encouragement, and love every step of the way.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gery Luck officiating. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial donations to Clinton Public Hospital, The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 128, or the Hospice of your choice may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
