OBITUARY
Paul Richard Meier
January 3, 1925 – December 15, 2018
Paul passed away at the age of 93 on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 4:30 pm, at the Good Samaritan Delta View Life Enrichment Centre in Delta, BC.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Katharina (Katie) in 2009 to whom he was married for 57 years.
He was a loving father to Richard and Anna; a proud grandfather to Brian (Susan), Lindsay, Jamie and Correy (Chris); and adoring great grandfather to Alex, Isaac, Seth, Griffin and Austin.
He was predeceased by brothers Edmund and Reinhold, sisters Lydia and Sophie. He has one surviving brother, Karl.
The Funeral Service to Celebrate Paul’s Life will take place on Friday, December 28, 2018, at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 505 East 46th Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5W 2A2.
10:00 am: Viewing
10:30 am: Funeral Service
The Graveside Service will be held at approximately 2:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park,14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC, V4P 1P3.
Paul’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan Delta View Life Enrichment Centre for the loving care and kindness which Paul received from them for the last 6½ years.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC would be greatly appreciated.
