OBITUARY
Patrick Francis O’Rourke
24 June , 1936 – 1 April , 2018
O’ROURKE, Patrick Francis, age 81 of Halifax, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the V.G. Hospital. He was the son of the late William Alphonse and Mona Pauline (MacDade) O’Rourke. Patrick was in the RCAF for 10 years and then went on to work for ITT Cannon Electric Canada Limited in Oshawa, Ontario until retirement in 1997. Patrick is survived by his daughter Cindy O’Rourke, Houston Texas; two grandchildren, Carl and Phillip; as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his two sons, Michael and Anthony. We would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses on 4B on the transitional wing and Palliative Care unit. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A small private service will take place for the family on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10am in Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 2267 Brunswick St. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville NS. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, 217 Portland St, Dartmouth NS. Family flowers only.
