Obituary of Patricia Downer
DOWNER – Patricia Anne Downer at Vermont Square Long Term Care in Toronto on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the age of 77 years. Loving sister of Hansen Downer and his wife Kathryn of Kingston, ON and loving aunt of Karissa Downer of Toronto, ON and Michael Downer and his wife Lauren of Atlanta, GA. Predeceased by her father John Henry Downer and mother Edna Sybil Downer. Patricia moved from Port Colborne to Toronto when she was 17 years old and worked at several different legal firms as a paralegal during her career. She lived for many years near Yonge and Saint Clair in Toronto and loved that area of the city. Most recently she has been lovingly cared for by the staff at Vermont Square Long Term Care home as she courageously fought a battle with supranuclear opthalmoplegia. Arrangements entrusted to DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME 135 Clarence St. Port Colborne. A brief ceremony to celebrate Patricia’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Port Colborne, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 3 PM.
