Normand Cormier
1929-2018
Normand Cormier, 89, of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent and formerly of
Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday November
19, 2018. Born in Leominster, Mass, he was the son of the late
Laurier and the late Ida (Landry) Cormier.
Normand was a founding member of the AA Bouctouche group. He also
served in the Korean War with the USA Army from 1951 to 1953 in the
7th Division.
He leaves to mourn his two sisters; Marie-Paul Collette of Ottawa and
Carmella Lirette (Albert) of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, one brother;
Jean-Noël (Andréa) of Gardner, Mass as well as several
nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters; Marie-Mai and Francine.
Following Normand’s request, there will be no visitation at the
funeral home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Jean
Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday November 26, 2018
at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
