Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on October 25th, Giovannina Baranello nee Guglielmi. Beloved wife of 72 years of the late Antonio Baranello.
Giovannina is survived by her children Luigi (Antonietta), Mario (Lina) and Amato (Antonella). A devoted grandmother to Nadia (Reno), Paola, Cristina (James), Antonio (Caroline), Anthony (Gail), Giordano and Adriano, her great- grandchildren Mara, Luca, Giovanni, Emmitt, Sofia and Giulio.
The family will receive condolences at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Notre-Dame, Lachine (www.jjcardinal.ca 514-639-1511) on Monday, October 29, from 2pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm and on Tuesday, October 30 from 9am-10:30am followed by the funeral mass at Missione del Annunziata,4360 Broadway,Lachine thence to Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jewish General Hospital Medical Research or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
