Mrs. Miriam Mary Georgei (Autio, nee Majalahti)
1929-2018
It is with great sadness that the family announces her death at the Anson General Hospital on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the age of 88 years.
Beloved mother of the Late Brenda (Bill) Autio and James (Teresa) Autio of Pikwakanagan, ON. MuMu will be forever remembered by her grandchildren; Lizbeth Autio, Josh Autio, the Late Jack Autio and Jaden (Nick) Autio as well as her Great Grandson Xavier. Miriam is also survived by her brother Eric (Elaine) Majalahti as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Aarne and Vieno Majalahti, her daughter Brenda and her siblings Reino, Jack and Aileen.
Family and Friends may call at Abitibi Funeral Services on Monday, February 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 at Abitibi Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Anson General Hospital Auxiliary and would be appreciated by the family.
