NORWOOD, Michael Wesley – 62 of Dartmouth. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael as a result of a workplace accident on January 11, 2018. Born October 11, 1955 in Halifax, he was the son of Carol Negus (Gammon), Eastern Passage and the late Fredrick Norwood. He loved music, especially his time at the Black Sabbath concert with his brother Pat. He could tell a story to like no other, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by brothers Terry (Rachel) of Halifax, and Pat (Diane) of Dartmouth as well as sister Kathy of London, Ontario. His many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews will dearly miss their uncle Michael. He was predeceased by his step-father Ross Negus. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday January 17, 2018 at the Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home, 5 Cow Bay Road, Eastern Passage. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday from St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Passage, burial will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery.
