Obituary for Mr. Melvyn Francis Griffin
Melvyn Francis Griffin of Collingwood Ontario, formally of Toronto, Ontario passed away on November 8th, 2018 at the age of 76 years old. Born August 26th, 1942 in Birmingham England to the late Leonard & Kathleen Griffin, Mel is survived by his wife Mette Marie Griffin, his children, Andrea (Ryan) Bellamy, Leslie (Grant) Holcomb, Joseph (Alejandra) Griffin & Julia (David) Estrada, and his grandchildren, Dylan & David Bellamy; Evelyn, Hailey, Scarlett, Anabelle & Alexander Pequenera-Griffin; Bethany & Rosemary Estrada-Griffin. Mel was an avid golfer, trivia aficionado and over all sports fan. Long time member of Bayview Golf and Country Club, and the lifetime member of the Greater Dunsford Invitational. He will be missed. A celebration of life will take place at Bayview Golf and Country Club, 25 Fairway Heights Dr, Thornhill, ON L3T 3X1, on Sunday November 18th at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
