Matthew Walker Stoddart
STODDART, MATTHEW – It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Matthew W. Stoddart at the age of 94, Saturday, November 24, 2018. Pre deceased by his loving wife Patricia, 2002. Will be missed by his dear friend Ruth Chasse. Dearly loved father to Sue and Wayne Carmichael, Steve Stoddart and Heather Stoddart; devoted grandfather to Nicole and Kyle Gardener, Lauren Carmichael, Matthew and Kim Stoddart, Angela and Gabrielle Stoddart, proud great grandfather to Kayleigh Stoddart; and brother to Jarvis Stoddart and the late William Stoddart. Matthew will always be remembered for his quiet sense of humour, his curiosity for knowledge and his appreciation for family and friends. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls, on Friday, November 30 to celebrate Matthew’s life. Visitation will be at 10:30 am followed by a service at 11:30 am. Those wishing to make a donation may do so to a charity of their choice.
