Legare, Marjorie (nee Woods)
Born and raised in Newfoundland and passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Derbeckers Heritage House at the age of 97.
Beloved wife of the late Jules Legare.
Loving mother of Joan LaFlamme. Nana of Michael (Nicola) and Suzanne.
Great Nana of Joshua, Amberle, Emma and Nicholas. Dear sister of Jean, Anne, Shiela and sister in law, Shirley Woods. Predeceased by parents, Eugene and Alice, siblings, Alexander, Ignatius, Lloyd, Grace, and Gertie.
Faithful member of St. Aloysius RC Church for many years. She enjoyed her bus trips and traveling and hand crafts such as knitting, embrodery and cross stitching.
Marjorie’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. followed by a Liturgy service in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. . Interment at Woodland Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
