Mary Jean Smith
On Monday August 6, 2018 Mary Jean Smith, wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and sister
passed away peacefully at the age of 73.
Mary will forever be remembered by her husband William (Bill); children Alan, Brian (Darlene),
and Neil (Laura); and sister Eleanor (Norman). She is also loved and will be remembered
by her grandchildren Alex, David, Ashley, Ryan, Jesse, Payton, Nathan, and Mathew.
Mary will forever be remembered by numerous in-laws, nephews,
nieces, dear friends, and of course her precious four-legged feline (Molly).
Mary was predeceased by her daughter Vicki and daughter-in-law Julie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff in the palliative
care unit at the Grey Nuns Hospital who cared so much for Mary during her stay.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday August 13, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Park Place Funeral Home,
Chapel, Sherwood Park, AB. (East of Ramada Hotel).
In lieu of flowers Mary wanted donations to be made to the Cross Cancer Institute or
The Make a Wish Foundation.
