Mary Jean Edwards (Marritt) February 15, 1926 – January 2, 2018 Mary Jean passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018, a few weeks before her 92nd birthday. She was born in Keswick, Ontario and grew up with childhood memories of the farm and long summers swimming in Lake Simcoe. After graduating from Newmarket High School she attended Toronto Western Hospital Nursing College and worked as an RN in Newmarket and Victoria BC. She married John Edwards in 1952, and with him lived in Napanee, Newmarket, Winnipeg, Victoria and finally in Comox.
