OBITUARY
Maria Peterson
January 26, 1938 – March 14, 2018
PETERSON, Maria passed peacefully away in Kelowna on Wednesday March 14th,2018 at the age of 80 years. She was predeceased by her first husband Santo Gioia and her second husband Walter Peterson and an infant child Sandy; brothers John, Tilio and Silvio. Maria is survived by her children Teresa (Tom) Spencer, Guy (Helen) Gioia and Franca (Bill) Daley; grandchildren Sandy, Jason, Adam, Victoria, Ashley, Sean, Christine, Danny, Michael, Sherry, Michael, Kenny, Jennifer, Ryan, Charmaine and Billy; numerous great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends. She is also survived by her sister Alba and brother Tony. Maria spent 50 years of service to St. Theresa’s Parish (Corpus Christi Church), volunteering with the CWL. A special thank you to the Dr.’s, Nurses, Volunteers at Dialysis Unit and the Palliative Care unit for their amazing care over the years. Prayers will be recited on Tuesday March 20th at 6:00 pm at Valleyview Funeral Home, 165 Valleyview Road and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Wednesday March 21st at Holy Spirit Church, 1260 Neptune Road.
