OBITUARY
Mrs. Maria Felli
October 1, 1928 – June 26, 2018
It is with deep sadness that the family of Maria Felli (nee Piperni) announces her passing at the age of 89, after a 6 year struggle with Alzheimer’s. Maria was born and raised in Celano, Italy, and immigrated to Canada with her husband, Augusto, in 1954, where they started a new life. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years in 1998. She is survived by her children: Tina (Rob) and Larry (Shelley). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Chrissy (Kerry), Melissa (Tyler), Derek (Amber), Hunter and Trent. Last year she became a great grandma to 3 beautiful little boys: Dominic, Kayden and Hudson. Her kids and grandkids always provided her great joy.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver at 10:00 am with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of BC. The family wishes to thank the staff at Royal City Manor for their compassionate care of Maria for the past 6 years. Also a special thank you to Dr. Yap.
