OBITUARY
Margot Marie Giersiepen
Margot passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018 at 7:30 am at The Views in Comox, BC. She was born in Remscheid, West Germany on January 13, 1921. Margot and her husband, Karl, immigrated to Ontario, Canada in approximately 1960. She was employed for years in a German Deli and later volunteered at a local hospital. But her priority was to be a devoted wife, mother and later grandmother and great grandmother. Retirement brought them to BC
Margot passed away among family, friends, caregivers and medical staff at The Views at St. Joseph’s. Our gratitude for all their care and compassion. “The strength you instilled upon us all will live in our hearts forever.” You will be sadly missed.
Margot was predeceased b her parents, Peter and Alma Wintgens, and husband Karl Heinz Giersiepen. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Karl Jr. (Leslie); grandchildren Dana (Melissa) and Jessica; great grandchildren Gavin and Ollie.
Family will be remembering Margot privately.
