In September of that year they moved to Cornwall where, in addition to raising their 5 children, Margaret chaired and was involved in many organizations. In 1966 Margaret left her family and friends, in true pioneer spirit, and moved to the West Coast with her family where she was instrumental in a church plant, the very first church in Gold River. She then later moved to Prince Albert and Red Rock as she followed our dads career, where once again she became very involved with the community. Margaret was an inspiration to all she met. She viewed life as a challenge and sought every opportunity to change things for the better for her family and those around her, always reaching for newer and richer experiences. The mosaic of her life has helped form the tapestry of our lives and those around her. We are reminded today through the life and death of our mom, that we live each day intentionally and with love always. A piece of our hearts have become untethered from our soul and will always belong to mom. It is our final gift to her.
A celebration of her life will be held at Bethel Church, 945 Main Street, Penticton, on Saturday, July 21 at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stonecroft Ministries.
