1931-2018
The death of Margaret Jane Campbell of Fredericton, formerly of Minto,
NB occurred Friday, December 21, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital.
Margaret was born in Montreal on October 13, 1931, and moved to Minto
at the age of 13. She was daughter of David and Sadie (Barrett)
Mills, and the loving wife of Jack Campbell. She was a member of the
Saint Michael and all Angels Anglican Church. Margaret was active in
curling, and enjoyed playing bridge with her Bridge Club.
After moving from Minto, Margaret resided in Fredericton, spending the
last few years in Farraline Place retirement home.
Survived by her two sons, Michael Campbell (Beth); and Glen Campbell
(Reta-Ann). Grandchildren; Sean (Jennifer), Corey (Madison), Craig,
Matthew, and Jackson. Great grandchildren; Jayla and Alicia.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband,
Jack Campbell; a son, Richard Campbell; brothers David Mills and
George Mills.
Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street,
Minto) with visitation on Friday from 10 am … 12pm. Funeral
Service will take place 1:00 PM Friday, December 28, 2018 at Saint
Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Minto. Interment will take
place at a later date. For those who wish, donations to Saint Michael
& All Angels Anglican Church, Minto; or Farraline Place (776 Queen
Street, Fredericton, NB E3B 1C6) would be appreciated by the family.
